“It’s the one thing that keeps me going: property, architecture, and interior design,” said the actor.
Even though he plays the tough guy in most of his movies, Jason Statham makes sure that his home is a relaxing place.

“Everything in the UK is just these little rooms with fireplaces. “Every house is identical—it’s all red brick—and it differs greatly from California midcentury architecture,” the 56-year-old British actor said in a recent ArchDigest.com feature about one of his Los Angeles residences.
“So, [here] when you get a floor-to-ceiling glass and it connects the indoors with the outdoors, it’s almost like this free-flowing connection,” he explained. “There’s just something very Zen-like, and it gives you a certain sense of relaxation.”
And even though many people would think celebrities like Statham would avoid more exposed homes given their public personas, the Fast & Furious actor claims that these are his preferred type.
He told the magazine, “I’ll be very happy if you put me in a glass box.” “There’s just something really appealing about the symmetry and openness of things.”
The Expendables actor boasted that he has a talent for discovering properties that he can gut and transform while showcasing the recently remodeled house with its cedar wood ceilings and large windows.
Statham told the outlet, “I’m always looking for places to either buy or renovate, to move up the ladder.” This one had a certain charm and kind of appeared out of nowhere. Like many other mid-century buildings, it had been abandoned and was extremely destitute.”
The actor acknowledges that the four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is a modern, minimalistic masterpiece, but it was not a cheap renovation.
I never really used a spending plan. As a result, every finish went up in price, making it a very opulent year, according to Statham. Building a new home would have been simpler, for some reason. However, while renovating, we were guided by some of its original features, such as the drop-down that essentially lets you run the cedar ceiling up from the interior of the house to the overhangs and the butterfly ceiling. If we had drawn it out on paper, I doubt we would have done those things.”
The house also has a gym that, according to the publication, would “put Equinox to shame,” complete with a unique ceiling that can hold his bulky bags, gymnastic rings, and other exercise apparatus.
It also opens to an outdoor space where Statham set up an immersion tub for ice baths made of stainless steel, a Hoshiazaki ice maker, and a sauna.
“People don’t like to think about getting into a tub of ice,” he said. However, the advantages are enormous. These days, it’s a fairly common training method.”
