The 65th Grammy Awards were attended by a slew of celebrities. With the previous statement that Jay-Z would play at the Los Angeles event, it wasn’t apparent how DJ Khaled with “God Did” would happen. Let’s take a look at some images of DJ Khaled and his family during this year’s Grammy Awards.
DJ Khaled was nominated for six Grammys at this year’s Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year for “God Did.” He previously received the award for best rap/sung performance for “Higher” in 2020.
The “I’m The One” singer, 47, walked the 2023 Grammys red carpet with his family — wife Nicole Tuck and kids Asahd, 6, and Aalam, 3 — all wearing coordinating attire and leaving no doubt that they’re a tight team.
As a collective of artists, Hov, Khaled, Fridayy, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and John Legend delivered nothing short of perfection. As each performed their stanza, the peak was Jay doing his, which took place at a big table symbolizing “The Last Supper.” The entire five-minute stanza was performed on the Grammy stage, while the other members of the song also rejoiced. DJ Khaled then closed the performance with a direct-to-camera message, saying, “We did an 8-minute song on the Grammys!”
The song “God Did” was nominated for three Grammys, including “Song of the Year,” “Best Rap Performance,” and “Best Rap Song.” It was included on Khaled’s 13th studio album of the same title, which was nominated for “Best Rap Album” at the time.
